Description | Shell up to ca. 10 mm high, very fragile, semi-transparent, weakly inflated, left valve weakly convex convex, right valve nearly flat, circular, nearly equivalve and equilateral, auricles nearly equal in size, but unequal in shape, colour whitish, internal ribs lacking. Both valves smooth with some irregularly spaced growth lines. Auricles continuous with shell disc, except anterior auricle of right valve, which is distinct. Byssal notch relatively deep, byssal fasciole and ctenolium lacking. |
